Tweet Tweet: Efrain Escudero vs. Dan Lauzon at UFC 114... mayhaps.
My world is all a'twitter today!
*Unofficially* on the night where we will see some black on black crime (thank you very much Rampage Jackson) we may also get to see Efrain Escudero vs. Dan Lauzon...
DDuggan21 tweet twit twittered earlier today:
"Just heard from a UFC source: Dan Lauzon's next fight will come at UFC 114 on May 29 against Efrain Escudero #UFC"
Hmmm... this is an interesting match up (if it happens). Last time we saw these two fellas in the Octagon they were falling mercy to some bad ass BJJ.
*Stay Tuned*
Three Cheers for Herschel Walker
Okay, so if I would have realized that Herschel Walker was donating his entire six-figure purse to charity I would have picked him to win. What an awesome person! I mean, I know that he is oober rich, and isn't hurting for money at all, but that is a lot of money to just part with.
He donated his whole stinkin purse to Project Turn Around.
Project Turn•Around (PTA) is the social outreach arm of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship with a mission to rebuild communities from the inside out with a comprehensive, faith-based program designed to improve and enrich the lives of urban youth and families. PTA programs touch the whole person, offering wraparound services that enable individuals to make the right choices by changing the way they think, providing opportunities for positive change and giving them hope for a brighter tomorrow.
So for that, Sir, I give you THREE CHEERS.

Hmmmm... Here's to hopin' Wes Simms gets more than a 30 day medical suspension. If this actually does happen it will be one of the lamest fights of the century....
I think I have a name for the Card it will appear on though:
"Battle of the Muffin Tops"
I can see it now, the show will be sponsored by WalMart, Oscar Mayer, and Milwaukee's Best (Beast).
Hitch up your trailers and get on your good sweatpants, we're goin' out!!
'Geezers at Caesar's.'... Wonderful!!
He's not Captain America, he's Captain Cauliflower!!
Randy Couture is quite the funny fella, I do have to say! MMA Junkie quoted Captain America as saying
"I'm sure one of the old-age factions out there is going to get behind this fight. Maybe the Depends group. My buddies here say we should move it to Caesar's and call it the 'Geezers at Caesar's.' "
In the same interview Couture points out how he enjoys going up against fellow wrestlers because they are usually gamers. He points out how common it is for wrestlers to compete against their own teammates. Good Point! It kinda makes the whole Anderson Silva/ Lyoto Machida thing seem silly, huh?

Okay, Usually I get pretty jealous when I hear about the Q&A and autograph sessions for the fights, however this time around I am not too upset. Brandon Vera is the speaker this time, and that is the highlight of the whole thing.
The UFC will have Jon Jones (607 baby), Renzo Gracie (eh, so what, he's a Gracie, there are 1,000,000 Gracies around) and lastly, Kos (::psh:: you can keep your dang autograph, sir!) signing autographs before/during the Q&A.
